I'm so glad you found your way here. I am Angela Potes, therapist specializing in depression, anxiety and trauma release. I am here to support you in your journey to well-being and transformation. A REASSURING FIRST SESSION
The first session is a welcome session where we will take the time to get to know each other. I understand that you may feel some apprehension, but I want to assure you that I will do everything possible to put you at ease. We will discuss your story, your experiences and your emotions. Depending on your needs, we will put in place the most effective therapy process for you to get you feeling better, and start with therapy. My main objective is to ensure your well-being above all. We will meet regularly to ensure the therapy process works best for you, so that you feel better and fulfill your needs.
YOUR POWER TO CHANGE
As we work together, you will gradually feel better. You will act as the primary agent of your transformation, and I will be there to listen to you, guide you and support you throughout the journey. You will become aware of your abilities and what to develop yourself so to face life's challenges. I completely believe in your potential to change and achieve a fulfilling life. THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS CHANGE
Once you contact me by e-mail, SMS or telephone, we can arrange an appointment for an initial Zoom call. We will discuss your expectations in order to assess whether I am the right person to support you to fulfill your needs. By the end of this call, you should have a pretty good idea of whether or not you'd like to work with me, and we can book our first session together.
THE IMPORTANCE OF CONSISTENCY
This works requires trust and commitment. To achieve best results, it is recommeded that we meet regularly. This pace will allow you to build a solid therapeutic relationship which will allow you progress effectively. Each session will be an opportunity to explore your emotions, thoughts and behaviours to better understand yourself and become aware of what is preventing you from achieving your well-being. No matter what, you can always trust me to help you the best I can, and I ensure that you feel safe with me. I will also support you with practices to work with outside of our sessions, so that you can move forward serenely, but assertively.
